Fig. 1.    Purification of rhGAL-1/COS1 by reverse-phase HPLC. Immunoaffinity-purified rhGAL-1/COS1 from the culture supernatant of transfected COS1 cells was applied to a YMC-Pack Protein RP column (4.6 × 150 mm), and elution was performed over 45 min at a flow rate of 0.5 mL·min-1 with a linear gradient of 32–40% acetonitrile in 0.1% TFA. Elution of proteins was monitored by measurement of A280. The peak corresponding to rhGAL-1/COS1 is indicated by the arrow.
