Fig. 5.    Reverse-phase HPLC analysis of oxidized and nontreated purified rhGAL-1. DEAE-purified rhGAL-1 was not treated further (A) or was oxidized (B) to yield the same disulfide linkages as those in rhGAL-1/COS1. Both samples (A, 0.8 µg; B, 0.6 µg) were analyzed by reverse-phase HPLC on a YMC-Pack Protein RP column (4.6 × 150 mm); elution was performed over 45 min at a flow rate of 0.5 mL·min-1 with a linear gradient of 32–40% acetonitrile in 0.1% TFA. Protein elution was monitored by measurement of A215.
