Clinical observation of acupuncture in treating pseudobulbar palsy

摘要

目的

观察针刺颈项部穴位治疗假性球麻痹的临床疗效。

方法

将120 例确诊为假性球麻痹患者随机分为2 组, 观察组60 例, 给予颈项针刺治疗;对照组60 例, 给予舌三针针刺治疗, 1 个月后对主要症状、 体征进行系统的比较和评估。

结果

观察组治愈率和总有效率为41.7%和90.0%, 对照组为26.7%和81.7%, 两组差异有统计学意义(P< 0.01)。

结论

颈项针刺法对假性球麻痹有明显的治疗作用,能减轻乃至消除患者的相关症状和体征。

Abstract

Objective

To observe the clinical efficacy of needling nape acupoints in the treatment of pseudobulbar palsy.

Methods

One hundred and twenty cases of pseudobulbar palsy were randomized into two groups, a treatment group in which 60 cases were treated by needling nape acupoints and a control group in which 60 cases were treated by needling tongue acupoints; after one-month treatment, the clinical symptoms and signs were observed.

Results

The cure rate and total effective rate were respectively 41.7% and 90.0% in the treatment group, and respectively 26.7% and 81.7% in the control group, with differences in the cure rate and total effective rate between the two groups (P<0.01).

Conclusion

Needling nape acupoints is quite effective to treat pseudobulbar palsy in the relief of clinical symptoms and signs.
