Shawna Sadler is an Engagement Manager at ORCID, leading strategic adoption across Canada and the United States. She is ORCID’s key contact for funders, research security and public access initiatives, and Verified Digital Credentials. Before joining ORCID, Shawna held director-level roles in digital librarianship — including Director of Digital Library and Innovation at Deakin University and Associate University Librarian at the University of Calgary, where she was instrumental in the technological implementation of the Taylor Family Digital Library. She holds a Master of Library & Information Science from Syracuse University.
